What inspires me to keep going dayin and day out would have to be my kids. I need to get up everyday to take care of them, get them ready, go to work and make a living so I can provide for them. If I didn’t have kids I wouldn’t care less what I did or what my life becomes. I make sure my kids have everything they need and a happy childhood. My kids are my life and I would do everything for them. That’s what keeps me going, I could have nothing for myself but as long as I have my kids and they are happy that’s all that matters.

In all of history my favorite invention would have to be the cell phone. It makes my life easy, people are able to get ahold of me and I use it for everything. I have a smartphone, so I download applications to help with eveyday things. For example, imstead I carrying around a grocery list, I have an app that I can keep my grocery list on. Another good thing my phone is for is texting. I don’t feel like talking on the phone so I will text someone and when they respond I don’t have to answer right away, I can continue what I was doing.

If I could time travel I would probably go back to August of 1969, and more specifically to the Woodstock Music Festival. I can’t stand the music that is being produced today and it would be great to go back and see all those great bands perform live. Especially with knowledge of the future, I think it would be a lot of fun. I would also probably go and find my parents to see what they were like. I don’t think I would talk to them or anything but I would definitely see how different they were from how they are now.

I believe I would travel back in time to simpler times. I have always thought that I was better suited for the 1950s. Many things were not right in the 50s but I think my demeanor and shy personality would have been better received in those times. It was the dawn of creature comforts and the building blocks of modern convenience. I would have enjoyed sock hops, soda jerks, malts and the sort. I’m hip to the phrases swell, and mint, and neat-o. Things seem dreamy and peachy keen in those days. I would enjoy the lifestyle that the average family enjoyed in those days.

In all of history my favorite invention would be the cell phone. Although it is criticized a lot by older generations, it really has become one of the most useful tools in our daily lives. I can honestly think of numerous situations that could have turned out awful if I didn’t have it. What I like about cell phones is that they provide so much convenience and connect us with the rest of the world as long as we have service. With more smart phones emerging and thousands of apps along with them, the possibilities of cell phones are endless.
